Founded in 2004, The Wiegand Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization* dedicated to preserving the art and legacy of Don F. Wiegand.
NASA Unveiling
The unique culture created by Mr. Wiegand over the course of his lifetime brings together, in harmonious accord, elements of fine art, horticulture, architecture, music and wildlife. This culture was famously ensconced in his largest sculpture the studio at One Wiegand Drive in Chesterfield, Missouri.
But the legacy of Don Wiegand involves much more than the appreciation of these things. His art honors and celebrates the higher aspirations of mankind, bringing into focus things like family, community, faith, liberty, patriotism, creative expression, exploration, science and medical advancement.
His life’s work has been built upon his passion for giving to others and love for one’s fellow man. The Wiegand Foundation strives to present that legacy to the greater community and preserve it for future generations.
